Hey everybody! i'm Don, and i've just built up my new bike Woodman T-comp 2005 (maybe the first one in Australia too!) but yeah, rides pretty awesome, very light, and yeah...i live in Brissie

Thanks to Tim From the www.expressivebikes.com (http://www.expressivebikes.com/) crew for the frame/fork/stem (you folks should visit here if you want some parts)
Thanks to Mitch www.sydney.biketrials.com (http://www.sydney.biketrials.com/) for his cranks
Thanks to Brett for the rear Try All rim www.biketrialsaustralia.com (http://www.biketrialsaustralia.com/)
and hmm....my local bike shop bicycle revolution for some other parts too

how does switching from mod to stock feel?

The bike doesn't feel too bad really, feels exactly the same as my old Raceline Rhino Setup (which was installed with the monty riser bar and long stem) I guess it's thanks to the short stem on this frame that made it feel like my old 20" which is good. But I love the feel of the larger wheels though, and I can now travel around to some places on a Trials bike FINALLY!

But I can't seem to do front hops on it...cause the balance point on the front wheel is WAY out forward...(but...I guess you don't really need that trick)

Nice, love all those "bright" colours, yellow, green, red, gold! Certainly won't be confused with anyone else's bike.

Whats up with the back brake ? The evo mount elbows are facing up:wtf:
Surely your brake must be the poooest thing known to man ?

EDIT: Gar wait, I'm a dick, its 4 bolt. still how does that work though ?

Donkay

ah...so you've noticed the evo mount backwards :p

I did that on purpose...as you could see on the last picture..i've fitted the magura booster on it...this is for temporary use until I could get my hands on a REAL 4 bolt booster, but, still works pretty good uno!

are you feeling tranquil?

Donkay

The cranks that you could see on the floor there are the....Onza T-Raptor Cranks...a mate of mine gave em to me...I wanted to use them...but the chainring is far too close to the chainstay resulting some rubbing action...which isn't good and non rideable:ugh:

yeah how does that Tranquility Fountain go? do you put it next to the natty rocks that you ride to be at one with yourself? hehe just muckin round. I do like that frame! matte black really does it for me. If you want suggestions... yeah shorten the cables, i would probably get rid of those sus corrected forks asap, they just make the bike feel more and more like a boat (slacker head angle, slow steering) ha, i thought mitch sold you his middleburns for a second there, i would have killed him for that. But yeah those cranks should only be a temporary things seeing as you will bend em once you hit up big shit.
Still... Great bike, im betting you are loving it! just givin my opinion on what i think would make it feel nicer :)
Have fun!
Peace

Today, i've shorten the brake hose, re-bled the Hs33's....slapped on a V booster on the rear, installed new rear Tyre a...Kenda Blue Groove

ah...no more PINCH FLATS! Michelin Hot S...omg...I had 4pinches in one day!:wtc: it's the worsest rear tyre ever! (by the way..I got the Hot S's for Free...so phew!)

and also gave the rear rim a re-grind....but I'm just wondering, how do you folks make the grind job soo deep/rough (especially you folks down at Canberra) i've tried many ways and still doesn't seem as deep, and i'm using a grinding disc...

I want to make the braking go...HOOT HOOT not...whooosh whooosh sound:p

but other than that, the bike feels more awesome...and I think my rear hubs gonna die soon:( *do not purchase the GT-Hadley rear hub, i got mine from Chainreactioncycles.com* mine had shown/made sounds of dying after the first day of riding the new bike...

Donkay, what pads are you running?

When i grind my rim i just step on the wheel and put some back into it pressing hard. I have achived some pretty harsh grinds that way.

Alex, i'm currently using Plazmatics and the problem was that...my rims just needed to be cleaned:hsugh: works fine now, but would be nice if I had deeper grinds though, i'll try out your technique till I need to re-grind the rear rim

i've also just carved out my dedicated two bolt booster, works well, (attempted to make a 4 bolt booster but died out and cracked at the bottom two bolts, if you're wondering, it's made out of Acrylic 7mm thick)

Also, having a slight problem at the moment though, my Rear GT-Hadley Hub on the Woodman has totally died out, it's lost all it's engagements, and I think only has 1engagement point left....SO TO YOU FOLKS OUT THERE! DO NOT PURCHASE THE GT-HADLEY REAR HUB (the one from Chainreactioncycles.com) IT"S ACTUALLY A 24 engagement point not 32!! IT TOTALLY SUCKS!!!! STARTED TO MAKE SKIPS AFTER FIRST RIDE TOO!!!

If you cant get a good grind on there i would suggest zoo pads. After an angle grinding accident involving my angle grinder eating its own cord i couldnt grind my mod rims anymore so i chucked on some zoos and they are amazing on a worn grind. Every one who has treid it has been impressed.
