    No need for a new rim.Unless you want to get one.As said expressive bikes or bike trials
    direct. Both build good wheels, just depends which way you want to go.

    Is it a factory echo build?If so there's your problem. The standar build echo rims are
    completely rubbish, I can't believe they can sell bikes with such a shit build.Replace your
    spokes with decent on...

    I've got the complete race line brakes front and rear. There no signs of leaking with
    mine.About the only thing I have had to do Is loctite the lever bolt and the little grub screw.
